Station 510, before Baldwin EMS moved in, was previously Off the Wall Racquetball & Fitness Cub. We still have 2 fully operational courts which are used regularly for fitness and training. |
Baldwin Borough Community Food Bank
|

|
Court 3, has been converted and is the home for the Baldwin Borough Community Food Pantry. The Food Bank, stores, sorts and distributes non-perishable food from here. |
Men's Bunk Room Area
|
Our full-time staff work 24 hour shifts, so we provide very comfortable Men's and Women's Bunk Room Facilities. The Men's bunk room features, 5 sets of bunk beds and an Officers bed that were designed and built by Baldwin EMS personnel. End tables are next to each bed set for storage. There is also a work desk with a privacy phone. The room is equipped with tone-activated alerting devices with two-way radio communications when emergency calls are received in either Baldwin or Pleasant Hills. |

All personnel also have the luxury of lifting weights when the opportunity arises. The weight room is fully equipped with free weight, nautilus machines and treadmill, much of the necessary 'tools' to chisel the body to meet the demands of EMS. |

Where we get to relax. The day room features a "Big Screen TV" all with surround sound, VCR and DVD Player. Also attached is our kitchen facilities which include a full size refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, and coffee maker. The dayroom also has remote speakers from the Communication Area on the second floor so the crews can continuously monitor the radio and be tone alerted when paramedic and rescue services are needed. |

Since the station was a fitness center, we kept the locker rooms and large shower facilities. |
Turn Out Gear Storage Lockers

| The turn out gear issued to the staff and kept for the volunteers are stored in the new locker room. |
Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance Room
|
| This room is located in the rear of the garage and contains medical supplies and equipment for restocking the ambulances. This room also houses a variety of hand and power tools used to perform light vehicle repairs as well as supplies to maintain the fleet and station. |

Our large garage was at one time a series of racquetball courts. Now it has the room for 9 vehicles and storage of cleaning and disinfectant supplies. The garage also contains a washer, dryer and ice machine. The portable and on board mounted oxygen cylinders are secured using storage carts and safety chains. |
George M. Bauman Training Room

Station 510 has a state of the art training center that is used to teach classes for our personnel and the community. It features state-of-the-art audiovisual materials and custom seating and lighting features, creating an excellent environment for learning. The Training Room serves as the meeting room for the Board of Directors, Officers meetings Daily Morning Briefings (featured above) as well as regular internal and external training programs. |

Women's Bunk and Rest Room Facilities
