Director Joe Schmider of the PA Department of Health Emergency Medical Services Bureau traveled to Western Pennsylvania recently and took the opportunity to visit with a few ambulance services throughout four counties.  Tom McElree, Executive Director and Amos Cameron, Operations Specialist, both from EMSI escorted Director Schmider during his visit to Baldwin EMS.

Baldwin EMS personnel had the opportunity to have dinner with Director Schmider then provide him a tour of Station 510 and the various vehicles, including Rescue 510.  Director Schmider was particularly interested in learning more about the several EMS Safety Program Initiatives that have been implemented as well as the programs that are in the planning stages.
