Paramedic Rescue Technician Brian Thomas was the recipient of the 2005 Distinguished Service Award (DSA) presented at the January 2005 Baldwin Borough Council Meeting.  The DSA is a annual peer recognition honor in which one individual is selected for outstanding job performance and achievement.

A quote from the white water rafting instructor that guided A-line on their rafting trip down the Lower Gauley River located in West Virginia.  This was an 8 hour trip that  included the passage through  5 classes of white water.
